In short

1. About us

ANICO Kitchens & Home is a trading name of ANICO LOGISTICS GROUP LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16422009, with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ (“we”, “us”, “our”).

You can contact us by email at info@anicogroup.co.uk or by phone on 07470 846210.

These terms apply to every order for kitchen design, supply and/or installation placed with us. Please read them carefully before you sign an order confirmation.

2. Definitions

3. Prices and quotations

  1. Prices shown on our website, in our brochures and in the “Design your kitchen” planner are indicative. “As shown” prices cover the cabinets with doors pictured, supply only, unless stated otherwise. Worktops, plinths, cornices, end panels, appliances, sinks, taps and installation are quoted separately.
  2. Your final price is set out in a written Quotation, prepared after we have measured your room (or received your measurements) and agreed the design with you.
  3. A Quotation is valid for 30 days from its date unless it states otherwise.
  4. All prices are in pounds sterling. Where VAT is chargeable, it will be shown on your Quotation.
  5. If we make an obvious error in a price, we will tell you and you may either accept the corrected price or cancel without charge.

4. Survey, measurements and design

  1. For supply and installation orders we carry out a survey of your room before the order is finalised.
  2. If we take the measurements, we are responsible for them. If you (or your builder or fitter) provide the measurements, you are responsible for their accuracy, and the cost of any changes caused by incorrect measurements will be payable by you.
  3. Before production we will send you the final design drawings and list of Goods. Please check them carefully: we will produce your kitchen exactly as shown in the approved drawings.

5. Your order

  1. A contract between you and us is formed when you have signed the Order confirmation and we have received your deposit.
  2. Your kitchen is then ordered from the manufacturer and made to your approved design.
  3. We may decline an order, for example if a product is no longer available. If so, we will refund any money you have paid.

6. Payment

Unless your Quotation states otherwise, payment is made in stages:

StageSupply onlySupply and installation
On signing the Order confirmation (deposit)50%50%
Before dispatch / delivery50%40%
On completion of installation–10%
  1. We accept payment by bank transfer and, where offered, by card or secure online payment link.
  2. Where we offer pay-in-instalments options (for example Klarna), these are provided by a third-party provider and are subject to its own terms and approval.
  3. We will not dispatch the Goods until the payment due before delivery has been received.
  4. The final payment is due on the day installation is completed. Minor snagging items do not delay payment of the final balance, except a reasonable amount we agree with you to cover them.
  5. Ownership of the Goods passes to you when we have received full payment. Responsibility for the Goods (risk) passes to you on delivery.

7. Production and delivery

  1. Kitchens are made to order by our European manufacturing partners. Typical production time is 3–6 weeks, depending on the finish, followed by delivery to the UK. We will confirm your delivery date once production is scheduled.
  2. Delivery dates are estimates. We will keep you informed and will not be responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (see section 15). If a delay is significant, you may cancel and receive a refund of payments for Goods not delivered.
  3. Please make sure there is safe access to the property and a dry, secure space to store the Goods. Someone aged 18 or over must be present to accept the delivery.
  4. Please check the number of packages and any visible damage on delivery and tell us about missing or damaged items within 48 hours, with photos where possible, so we can arrange replacements quickly. This does not affect your legal rights.
  5. Replacement parts are produced by the manufacturer and delivered with the next available transport.

8. Installation

  1. Installation is carried out by our UK fitting teams. The work included is set out in your Quotation.
  2. Unless your Quotation says otherwise, the room must be ready for installation on the agreed date: the old kitchen removed, walls and floors finished and level, and plumbing, gas and electrical first-fix completed where needed.
  3. Gas and electrical connections must be carried out by suitably qualified and registered engineers. They are not included unless stated in your Quotation.
  4. If the site is not ready, or hidden conditions are found (for example uneven walls, concealed pipes or damp), we will discuss the options with you. Additional work and any return visits will be agreed and charged separately.
  5. On completion we will walk through the kitchen with you and agree any snagging items, which we will put right within a reasonable time.

9. Changes to your order

You may ask to change your order before it is placed in production. Once production has started, changes may not be possible or may involve extra cost and a new delivery date. We will tell you the effect of any change before making it.

10. Cancellation

10.1 Your right to cancel (consumers)

If you are a Consumer and you placed your order at a distance (online, by phone or email) or away from our business premises, you normally have a legal right to cancel within 14 days:

To cancel, please tell us clearly by email to info@anicogroup.co.uk. If you cancel, we will refund payments due within 14 days, as required by law. You will need to return any standard Goods at your own cost unless they are faulty.

10.2 When the right to cancel does not apply

The legal right to cancel does not apply to Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, for example made-to-measure or modified cabinets, worktops cut to size, and doors, panels or finishes ordered specially for your project. Because each kitchen is made to an approved design, most of our orders fall into this category.

If you asked us to start installation within the 14-day period and then cancel, you will pay for the work carried out up to the time you tell us.

10.3 Cancelling outside these rights

If you want to cancel in other circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible. Where production has not started, we will try to cancel with the manufacturer. We may keep the part of your payments needed to cover costs we have reasonably and actually incurred (for example manufacturer charges and transport), and we will refund the rest.

11. Guarantees, faults and complaints

  1. As a Consumer you have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015: Goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality, and services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.
  2. In addition, our ANICO Guarantee covers cabinets and doors for 10 years and hinges, drawer runners and lift systems for 2 years from delivery, against manufacturing faults. Hinges or runners pulled out of the board during normal use are treated as a fault of the cabinet or door.
  3. We guarantee our installation workmanship for 12 months from completion, including one free adjustment visit in the first year.
  4. Guarantees do not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by impact, overloading, leaning or hanging on doors, accidents, water or steam, excessive heat or moisture, alterations by others, or failure to follow care instructions. Full details are given in the ANICO Guarantee document.
  5. If something is wrong, please contact us with a description and photos. We will arrange an inspection and, where appropriate, repair or replacement.

12. Colours, materials and images

Photographs, 3D visualisations and screen colours are for illustration only. Actual colours and finishes may vary slightly. Wood, wood-effect and stone-effect materials have natural variations in grain and pattern, which are not a fault. We recommend checking samples before ordering.

13. Our liability

  1. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your legal rights as a Consumer.
  2. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our negligence. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable.
  3. For Consumers, we only supply Goods for domestic and private use. For Trade customers, see section 14.

14. Trade and developer customers

  1. For Trade customers, the payment schedule, delivery programme and any volume pricing will be set out in a separate written agreement or Quotation, which will take priority over these terms where they differ.
  2. Sections 10.1 and 10.2 (consumer cancellation rights) do not apply to Trade customers.
  3. For Trade customers, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability under any contract is limited to the price paid under that contract.

15. General

  1. Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as manufacturer or transport disruption, extreme weather or border delays. We will tell you promptly and take steps to minimise the effect.
  2. Personal data. We use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
  3. Changes to these terms. We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you signed your Order confirmation applies to your order.
  4. Law and courts. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a Consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
